Boot Camp
Boot Camp provides managers with a solid foundation of systems and strategies to meet corporate goals and objectives. Boot Camp is an intensive 5 day training workshop for Real Estate office managers, hosted exclusively by Dyan Dobbyn, and covers every aspect of building and maintaining a highly profitable office. Boot Camp is not based on gimmicks and contains no fluff. Attendees are presented with a serious look at the problems facing the real estate industry, and are provided with the tools and training needed to turn their real estate office into a productive and profitable business. Attendees learn where their time and energy is best spent at work, and how to implement the policies and procedures necessary to ensure their agents are making the best use their time as well.
Attendees receive the finest scripts, schedules, sales presentations and administrative tools available in the Real Estate industry. Over the course of the week Dyan takes managers step by step through these marketing tools, helps them develop a working business plan for their agents, and trains them to effectively implement change within their offices. A real benefit of Boot Camp is that attendee’s work directly with Dyan Dobbyn, who is highly engaged with their development and is happy to answer any company specific or special interest questions throughout the course of the week. In addition, attendees learn to:
- Write a business plan that will fulfill company goals and visions
- Identify and hire the right people
- Develop a plan for each agent based on their personal skills and goals
- Write real life schedules for themselves and their agents
- Train agents in the skills they need to increase productivity
- Appropriately coach agents and hold them accountable to a plan
- Implement the systems necessary to support a new business model
- Increase profits and profitability from each agent
- Develop a dynamic and exciting workplace!
Boot Camp begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and there are both group and individual homework assignments for attendees each night. Employers sending attendees receive an in depth report from Dyan Dobbyn on their employee’s strengths and weaknesses, and an overall assessment of their performance upon completion of the course.
Most Boot Camps include company owners and presidents, general and regional managers, highly experienced managers, new managers, manager-candidates, assistant managers, in-house trainers, recruiters, and department heads. There will occasionally be a highly productive agent team leader in attendance. Usually ten to 30% of each class is comprised of Boot Camp veterans. Because of the vast amount of material covered and the intensity of the program, attendance is limited to 20 – 30 participants depending upon the class composition.
